This casual day-long retreat is free for all of our CPWG participants to attend.

• Location: 111 Saddle View Ln, Franklinton, NC 27525-9561 (google map … or contact Kim, kim[at]kimbeall.com, for the address)

• Early snacks: light snacks and coffee, tea, and water provided

• Lunch: potluck hosted by CPWG volunteers (bring your own lunch if you have particular dietary needs)

• Talk: Rose Cushing of Cushing Publishing (CushingPublishing.com) will present a one-hour presentation on how to market your book. This workshop will address marketing a new book, a book that has been on the market for awhile, and before your book is even published. She will discuss building your grass roots supporters, personal appearances, and the power of video.

Come hang out at a home full of gardens and literary inspiration.

Itinerary:

• 9am:  - 5pm: chat, write, eat, write, share, and more

• 9:30am or so: a talk, but Rose Cushing of Cushing Publishing

Important Notes

• Promote yourself. If you have published books, feel free to bring them to display for sale!

• Donations Welcome! There is no participation fee, but a donation jar will be present. Contributions go a long way toward covering expenses.

• Allergies. The house is home to several cats (and two humans). If you have severe allergies, we will do our best, but you are forewarned.
